David C. Pack vs. A Sabbath Test

"The Three Additions"

Dear Mr. Pack,

Our purpose for writing is to advise you of three new pieces of information we have published pertaining to the issue of dining out on the Sabbath. Two of them were published at the direct request of the authors of A Sabbath Test. The three pieces are as follows:

  1. A sermon given by Dennis Fischer entitled “A Slave in Egypt” This message inspired the article by the same name. In it Mr. Fischer explains why he was persuaded to terminate his practice of dining out on the Sabbath. It is our sincere belief that if you listen objectively to it, you may very well be persuaded by its extraordinary argument.

  2. A Video CD/ROM containing numerous articles on addressing the Sabbath restaurants issue. This CD/ROM is scheduled to be sent to the leaders of God’s Church in September.

  3. An essay written by Art Braidic and Dennis Fischer entitled “Millennial Sacrifices.” This article addresses an argument made by the Restored Church of God that contradicts both the scriptures and the historical record. According to your article, God’s people will bring sacrifices on the weekly Sabbath to the temple. This is not true. Furthermore God’s Church never taught this. Once you read “Millennial Sacrifices” we are confident that you will want to amend your essay concerning this point.
